We are pleased to offer a wide range of award options for students that can be a welcome benefit in conjunction with Federal aid, State aid, and Private Scholarships/Grants. Our hope is to do what we can to help our students achieve their goal of obtaining their Associate's and/or Bachelor's degrees. For maximum award consideration, please complete the FAFSA beginning in January of the year prior to your expected term of enrollment.
Scholarship Opportunities Offered at Regent University
During the day in the traditional 16-week semester format, popular with younger (18 to 22) students
During the evenings, weekends, or online in the 8-week format, popular with adults and working professionals
Regent University-based scholarships, discounts and awards cannot be combined. If eligible for more than one award, Regent will award the highest scholarship amount. The two exceptions to this are the Church Match Grant and Carson Scholarship Match.
Application for Regent University-based scholarships, discounts and awards must be received no later than two weeks prior to the start of a term.
Admitted students are eligible to apply for Regent University based scholarships, discounts and awards once official notification of acceptance is received.
Regent School of Undergraduate Studies reserves the right to change or alter any scholarship requirements, deadlines or award amounts.
All Regent University-based scholarships, discounts and awards are issued on a first come-first served basis and are based upon funds available.

All scholarships and grants pay toward tuition only.
Award consideration requires admission to Regent University's Undergraduate program.
Awards decisions are determined by information gathered during the admissions process and may require additional documentation; applicants will receive confirmation requests from the Financial Aid Office.
Financial need is determined using a combination of FAFSA information and University-set parameters.
Award amounts will vary depending on University-determined financial need
NOTE: RSU strongly encourages all students to complete the FAFSA in order to ensure the most accurate review of financial aid eligibility. Students who opt out of completing the FAFSA will not be considered for Regent University's need-based grants.
An eligible student may receive an award up to $6,000 annually.
An eligible student will have been inducted into PTK prior to RSU admission.
An eligible student will meet a cumulative 3.5 GPA requirement determined at the time of RSU admission. GPAs will be calculated from a thorough review of all prior college work.
Award renewals require a cumulative 3.0 GPA maintenance at Regent University.
An eligible student will receive a reduced tuition rate of $250 per credit hour.
An eligible student will receive a $200 bookstore credit per semester.
Credit is only available in Regent University's bookstore.
Unused credits will not rollover from one semester to the next.

An Active Duty Military Service Member

A Military Veteran, honorably discharged
An eligible Veteran will email a copy of their DD-214 to faforms@regent.edu or fax it to (757) 352-4118.
A Retired Military Veteran, honorably discharged
An eligible Retired Veteran will email a copy of their DD-214 to faforms@regent.edu or fax it to (757) 352-4118.
Award renewals require the maintenance of good academic standing as noted in the Undergraduate Catalog.
NOTE: An eligible student that is approved for 100% post-9/11 GI Bill benefits or the Yellow Ribbon program will not receive this tuition reduction; however, they will remain eligible for the bookstore credit.
