Bom has served as an advisor to members of the Canadian Parliament in addition to holding faculty positions at the University of Dubuque, Gordon College, and St. Stephen's University. He holds the Ph.D. from the Free University of Amsterdam and the AB from Calvin College.
James A. Davids, J.D.
Before serving President George W. Bush as the deputy director and counsel of the U.S. Department of Justice's Task Force on the Faith-Based & Community Initiative, James Davids was a founding member of Hoogendoorn, Talbot, Davids, Godfrey & Milligan law firm in Chicago. His private practice focused on cases ranging from medical malpractice and federal regulatory actions to First Amendment and civil rights disputes. Additionally as legislative counsel for the Christian Legal Society, he represents religious liberty interests on Capitol Hill. Charles W. Dunn, Ph.D.The Seven Laws of Presidential Leadership (2006); The Conservative Tradition in America (2003); Faith, Freedom, and the Future: Religion in American Political Culture (2003); and The Scarlet Thread of Scandal: Morality and the American Presidency (2000) are some of Dr. Charles Dunn's books. He has held teaching and/or administrative positions at Florida State University, the University of Illinois, Clemson University and Grove City College. His lecture topics include:
As an analyst of American politics, Dunn has appeared on such programs as NBC's Today Show, ABC World News Tonight and The O'Reilly Factor in addition to being quoted in a variety of publications, including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Times, and the International Herald Tribune. Appointed by Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, Dunn served four terms as chairman. He has lectured throughout the world.
Robert M. Dyer, Ph.D., PTAs a member of the Virginia Beach City Council, Dr. Robert Dyer offers significant practical political experience along with his professional training, including a B.A. in Physical Therapy from Fairleigh Dickinson University , an M.A. in Public Administration from St. Louis University, and a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Regent University. In the field of physical therapy, Dyer has served as the chief physical therapist for the Overlook Hospital in Summit, N.J., and rehabilitation coordinator for Department of Physical Therapy at the Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J. Dyer is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Joseph N. Kickasola, Ph.D.Dr. Joseph Kickasola, who served as an Egyptological and Biblical consultant for Jeffrey Katzenberg's The Prince of Egypt (DreamWorks, 1996-1998), teaches courses on International Relations, Islamic Politics, Middle East Politics, Qur'anic Law and Biblical Law. His academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Egyptian hieroglyphics & Coptic from Brandeis University and the M.A. in Divinity from Westminster Seminary. Kickasola is the only professor at Regent University to hold joint appointments in three schools: the Schools of Government, Law and Divinity. He is now completing a book titled Islamic Political Theology.
Dr. Mary Manjikian has written articles on failed states and cyberwarfare, and has appeared on CBN TV as an analyst discussing Russian-U.S. relations and women in politics. She has also served as a press attaché at the American embassy in Bulgaria and taught Media and Politics at the Joint Forces Staff college. She is available to speak on:
Manjikian has taught at the College of William and Mary and abroad in Bulgaria. She has a B.A. from Wellesley College, M.Phil. from Oxford University and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Spencer B. Meredith, III, Ph.D.
In addition to his teaching experience on the Middle East and Islamic political thought, Dr. Meredith’s research on religious conflict resolution and democratization developed out of his service as a US State Department Public Diplomacy guest lecturer in East and South Asia, as well as a Fulbright Scholarship to the Republic of Georgia. He has also led academic trips in China and South Africa focusing on diplomacy and development issues. His publications have included areas of compliance with international nuclear safety agreements and political stability in the former Soviet Union, social network analysis, unilateral peacemaking, and most recently, comparative analysis of democratization in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Besides his position at Regent University, Morrison has also taught at Princeton University, the federal government's James Madison Foundation, Georgetown University and the U.S. Air Force Academy. He earned the M.A. in Philosophy from Boston College, and the M.A. and Ph.D. in Government from Georgetown University.
Gary E. Roberts, Ph.D.In addition to authoring over 30 journal articles and book chapters on various human resource and public management issues, Roberts has served (1) as the book review editor for the Review of Public Personnel Administration, (2) on the editorial review boards of flagship public human resource journals, and (3) as an active journal manuscript reviewer.
