In 2004 Sarah earned her Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from Hillsdale College, a small private school in Michigan close to where she grew up. Prior to joining the team at Regent, she taught Spanish for six years in both private and public school systems. Sarah married her childhood friend, Eric Carlson, who is a youth pastor with Poema Church here in Virginia Beach. Sarah and Eric recently welcomed their first-born into the world, Drake Edward, on December 15, 2011.
